I got into hunting when I met my partner Sam, I’ve always known what pigging and dogging a pig was since I was younger, but I never had enough experience to know what I was doing. The best part about hunting for me is the Adrenalin rush, and the excitement is overwhelming at times especially when you know it’s a good pig that the dogs have been holding onto, as we all know the dogs love every bit of it and we enjoy seeing them progress. Sam and I started out hunting together around three years ago, I have learned everything I know about hunting from Sam, from starting a pup to catching pigs. It was all new to me from the word go but I picked up on it pretty quick. We quite enjoy the hunting game as a couple, we are both as eager as one another, but we have put in the hard yards to get to where we are now. It is all worth it when you’re doing it alongside your best friend with your dogs. Each hunt for us is a memorable experience for both the dogs and us. It is and will be an endless hobby for us, and we are always keen to load up and head out for another trip.

We have three main dogs Bizz, Rex and Big Lou. All of them didn’t come from no real line precisely just from friends that had dogs with the breeds we were after. We got them as young pups, and we have put countless hours, effort, tears, tantrums, sweat, and blood into getting them to where they are today. These mixes are our preferred breeds, we like the nice sized breeds, to us the bigger, the better. They are all sporty, fit and quick as well as attentive, responsive, alert and active. All being good natured dogs and thankfully easy to train and stock proof. So far, they are sound physically with no health problems. All of them are just great all around dogs. All 3 of the dogs find and lug without a second thought, by themselves but they also work really well as a team. We have put a lot of time into our dogs from the day they arrived, many good hours and many not so good but after time and dedication on the dogs and owners behalf we now have a great team of hounds, and we will all get the job done together.
