  We are hunters from Central West QLD. We love running little dogs and well there is one special little dog that we will never be able to replace. Boondy is a 5 year old Bull Terrier x Pitty. “5 years? That’s not very old” – Trust me when I say she has proven her worth. Boondy was always our main dog. There wasn’t a time that we went for a hunt that she hadn’t found us a pig. Sometimes, I wanted to tie her up just so I didn’t have to run so many kilometres. Hard life right? If you opened the gate, she’d be there first one off the ute, every time. If you left her at home to rest, well she wouldn’t talk to you for a week after that. I have seen this dog do some incredible things hunting all day no matter what and I just couldn’t figure out why she just wanted to keep going!  -  I soon gathered, she bloody lived for it. She is worth her weight in gold. 
  
  
  
  Along with having a lesser amount of teeth, after finding us a tonner, Boondy tore tendons in her shoulder which has now led us to retire her as she can’t use that leg to her full potential. Boondy is now at home, lapping up the attention and plenty of treats. She still doesn’t talk to us after we go for a hunt but she’s still the first dog at the gate when she knows we’re going somewhere. We let her chew on a pig every now and again; I swear that puts more years on her life! You are one of a kind Boondy. No one can ever tell me a dog doesn’t love what they do because my god, they have not met our girl Boondy!
